The Law Commission of Bangladesh already has prepared the Draft Trademark Law 2007 keeping it in conformity with the requirements of the TRIPS Agreement. Draft Patent Law 2007 and Designs Law 2007 are also being prepared in cooperation with World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and also keeping it in conformity with the requirements of the TRIPS Agreement. Ministry of law and Parliamentary Affairs is vetting them for the approval of the government.
