Information Technology (IT) law of Bangladesh is governed by the general law of the country. However Bangladesh Law Commission has prepared a Final Report on IT Law. Before any specific law is enacted by the government IT sector will be regulated by the basic law such as law of contract, Specific Relief Act, criminal law etc. in appropriate circumstances.
